DFI honors John Emerson and Ken Solomon at Garden Party

OBAMA SIGNS IRAN SANCTIONS AS EU, UN PASS SANCTIONS AS WELL
After years of opposition against sanctions on Iran's petroleum sector by Republicans, the Congress passed a complete set of sanctions designed to punish the Iran National Guard and Iran's petroleum industry. Obama also overcame years of Russian and Chinese objections to get the UN Security Council to pass additional sanctions as well. As a result, Iran has called for a reopening of talks on its nuclear program.
